Assassinaut is a science-fiction adventure film about a young girl who braves the alien wilderness of a faraway planet to save the President of Earth from a murderous astronaut.
Takes a while to really take off, but when it does, it explodes. Absolutely love a splatter movie that treats its child actors like adults. Good moments of melodrama, even better extremely subtle moments of comedy that are more like a The Sting nose tap than a wink.
